The third segment of the Africa Women Innovation & Entrepreneurship Forum (AWIEF) Conference & Exhibition will hold from the 5th to the 6th of October, 2017. It will be held in Cape Town. The theme for AWIEF 2017 is “Equity, Impact and Inclusive Growth towards Agenda 2030”.
Participants will be able to discover trends in Fintech, Agritech and the digital economy; as well as have access to African and Global business experiences and perspectives. There are opportunities to connect and network as well as plan on how to invest. Participants will also be able to learn how to manage African women-led businesses and initiatives in the broad areas of technology.

The conference, which will last for two days, is organised with the support and participation of African Development Bank (AfDB); South Africa’s Industrial Development Corporation (IDC); WESGRO; UN Women; UNDP; Mazars; Southern African – German Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Southern African – Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (SANEC); Alliance for Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA); Bank of Industry, Nigeria; among other partners.
In preparation for the 2017 event, AWIEF celebrated International Women’s Day with UN Women on 8 March 2017.
